We have new neighbours .... and today Dozer discovered there's now a cat living next to his yard. I don't think he's going to like that one tiny little bit. It will be interesting to see what happens when it begins sitting on the fence or up in the trees nearby trying to get the birds because old Dozer dog doesn't like anything out there much which includes the birds, the squirrels and the deer and definitely not a cat. I will keep my camera close this spring and summer ... it should prove to be quite intriguing. :-)
A pretty girl for you ... I really like this one... I guess its the soft colours and her lovely face. Well I've ordered a new little android tablet so I can sit up in bed and surf the net and read my books and all sorts of other great things. I'm looking forward to sitting out on the deck when the spring and summer comes with my old Dozer dog ... he can sleep whilst I read my book .. gosh I love him. He's such a sweet and dear old soul... and we sure are lucky to have found each other.
I hope you all received something nice from those who love you. Now we have Easter goodies in the stores. Our snow is melting pretty quickly here in the woods but winter sure isn't over yet and we could get a big downfall any time. I'm getting eager to see the green grass and to see if my lilac bushes survived the winter. I also planted some sunflower seeds and hope they will grow as well. I had one last year that came up by its own and was quite stunning and absolutely huge. I loved it. They are so cheery and pretty.
A graphic for you to snag if you are doing that here from my blog. I have another bunch of these on sale at my Etsy shoppe. They are really lovely.
Finally Blogspot have got their inserting image thingy back working ... so much easier than the way I've been doing it whilst they got it fixed. Anyway a desktop wallpaper for you .... It's quite lovely and vintage so click on the graphic and it will come up larger for you to install onto your computer or save to your "Jana's files" ... folder.
I hope you like it. There are some of my painted roses in this one.... also a lovely old cup and saucer, diamonds and of course pink roses....
Being home alone for a week or so gives me plenty of access to the computer and time to do some designing .. in between requests from my doggie to feed him ... He's wonderful company and thank goodness the snow has stayed away and I haven't had to do any shovelling. I think I heard somewhere that Spring is a mere 6 weeks away but I'm not sure if that is correct or not... A pretty lady for you to save if you wish... click on the image to see it original size (I think... :-)
